WetRentals Insurance FAQ
Do you have insurance?
While WetRentals does carry commecial insurance, it does not cover any part of a hosts or renters renting experience. This kind of insurance must be issued directly to the host or renter.
What are my options?
WetRentals has a number of processes built in to help secure both the hosts and the renters. Every renter must complete a governnment ID check prior to having the ability to rent. This ensures all our users are indeed who they say they are. Further, damage deposits are set by the host. This allows hosts to set custom damage deposits to suit their needs. Damage deposits are billed 24h prior to a rental and refunded, pending any damages, 48h post rental. WetRentals also has a built in claims process. On checkout, hosts take pictures of the boat and note any damages, hours on the boat and any other imporant information. On checkin, the same happens. Once these processes are complete, the host has the ability to submit a claim. A mediator will be used to mediate the situation and issue funds where needed. Lastly, our review system ensures all our hosts and renters have a way to leave honest reviews.
Who is WetRentals
