The Palmetto, a 45ft catamaran, is the perfect vessel for exploring the haunted city sites of Charleston that cannot be reached on foot. On this 1.5 hour adventure, passengers will be treated to bone-chilling tales of the city's past, including stories of tragic deaths, lost fortunes, and the Hanging of Stede Bonnet, “The Gentleman Pirate”. With a capacity of only 49 passengers, this tour offers a personalized atmosphere that allows everyone to feel the cool breeze of the Charleston Harbor as they learn about the city's bloody wars and devastating storms. As the tour takes place in the dark, infants ages 3 and younger are not permitted aboard the cruise, but passengers of all ages can enjoy the full snack bar, which is not included in the tour price. The meeting location is near the Charleston Maritime Center, where metered parking is available along Concord Street and at the South Carolina Aquarium parking garage on Calhoun Street. Passengers are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure and to be courteous of other passengers by arriving on time. The blue and white ticket booth under the reservations last name is where passengers should check in.
