The Boat Adventure program offers students the opportunity to become certified divers in open water environments. The program provides training and experience required to dive under the supervision of a dive professional and earn the PADI or SSI Scuba Diver certification. This certification can be upgraded to the PADI or SSI Open Water Diver certification with additional training. The course is designed for those who do not have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program. However​,​ it does have some limitations​,​ such as diving under direct supervision and being limited to 12 meters​/​40 feet. For those who want to dive more freely and deeper​,​ the standard Open Water Diver courses are recommended. The certification can be achieved in one day​,​ but PADI and SSI E-learning materials are not included in the certification price listed. It is important to note that a minimum of three divers is required to run any boat trip​,​ and rates may vary on holiday dates. In the unlikely event that there are not enough divers​,​ the company will inform customers and offer to reschedule or refund the full booking charge. Single students may be charged an additional $150 for private instruction​,​ and customers should bring swimwear​,​ sun protection​,​ towels​,​ and customary gratuity for the boat staff. Medical clearance is also required in case of serious medical issues or a "YES" on the PADI or SSI medical form.
