The SSI Technical Extended Range Trimix course is designed to take your diving abilities to the next level by expanding your depth and time limits. The course provides a deeper understanding of decompression theory and dive planning, as well as the use of breathable mixes with Helium. The course also teaches how to handle two decompression stages, improve diving techniques, and introduces new emergency protocols. Upon completion of the course, you will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 60m using trimix as the base gas with two decompression gases, and a maximum decompression time of 60 minutes. The cost of decompression gases will be calculated based on the student's consumption, with oxygen costing €0.04/L and helium costing €0.10/L.
