Experience the art of making traditional pesto sauce in Levanto's historical center with a hands-on pesto course. Since 1976, the laboratory of the pesto has been preparing the most ancient and well-known sauce in the world. You will have the opportunity to learn how to make pesto sauce with your own hands, following the traditional method. After a glass of sparkling wine and bruschetta with local extra virgin olive oil, you will taste pesto sauce made with the modern method while watching a demonstration of the traditional mortar method. Then, you will have the chance to make your own pesto sauce with the mortar, creating a concentrated and perfumed pesto cream to enjoy on pasta or bruschetta. The experience concludes with a tasting of your homemade pesto sauce, white wine, and local products. The pesto course includes a hands-on experience making pesto sauce with a mortar, as well as a tasting of pesto sauce with a glass of wine and local appetizers. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to taste olive oil and receive a printed recipe to take home. The course lasts for one hour and requires a minimum of two people to take place. Rates for adults aged 10 and above are €39 per person. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of EUR 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
