In this class, participants will be taught the art of bracing and re-entering a kayak in the event of an emergency. It is crucial for every sea kayaker to feel comfortable with self-rescue techniques to ensure safety on the water. With class sizes limited to 5, participants will receive personalized attention and guidance throughout the session. Participants are encouraged to bring their own wetsuit for this cold water immersion and kayak re-entry class. However, wetsuits can also be borrowed if needed. During the session, instructors will demonstrate and guide participants through assisted rescues and self-rescue techniques using paddle floats. By the end of the class, participants will have the confidence and skills necessary to handle unforeseen events while out on the water. Rates for this boat adventure class are $99 for adults. Reservations are required due to limited class sizes, so be sure to secure your spot in advance. Damage Deposit
Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental. This damage deposit secures the host if the boat is damaged during your rental. The damage deposit must be taken from the same card that the booking was made on. Questions?
